Liverpool look ready to join the race for RB Leipzig teenage sensation Yan Diomande.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ivory Coast international will be one of Europe\u2019s most sought-after stars this summer after a prolific breakout season in the Bundesliga with a host of giant clubs interested<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Diomande has 12 goals combined for RB Leipzig and Ivory Coast this season \u2013 including one strike in the Africa Cup of Nations<\/figcaption>AFP<\/figcredit><\/figure>\n

Manchester United<\/a> and Chelsea<\/a> have both been keeping tabs on Diomande and Liverpool<\/a> scouts were present as he scored during last weekend\u2019s 2-2 draw at home to Wolfsburg.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old, a potential replacement for Saudi Arabia target Mo Salah, is also wanted by Bayern Munich<\/a> and Leipzig have put a price tag of more than \u00a380million on his head.<\/p>\n

That valuation could come down if Leipzig, currently fifth in the table, miss out on Champions League football next season.<\/p>\n

Frustrated Trafford handed Toon escape plan<\/h2>\n

Newcastle are ready to rescue James Trafford from his Manchester City<\/a> misery.<\/p>\n

Trafford has spoken publicly<\/a> about City bringing in Gianluigi Donnarumma over his head weeks after re-signing from Burnley on a five-year contract.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old has seen his hopes of being part of England\u2019s World Cup squad dashed having started only three Premier League<\/a> games.<\/p>\n

Trafford was wanted by Newcastle before returning to the Etihad Stadium and remains high on their transfer wish-list.<\/p>\n

The Magpies signed Aaron Ramsdale from Southampton instead, but there is no guarantee they take up the option to buy the ex-Arsenal No.1 permanently.<\/p>\n

Unlocking Simons\u2019 talents will be one of the keys to interim Spurs boss Igor Tudor<\/a> steering them away from any relegation danger.<\/p>\n

The Netherlands international has scored two goals since a summer \u00a351.8m arrival from RB Leipzig.<\/p>\n

Ironically, Simons was just starting to find his feet in English football in the games leading up to Frank\u2019s sacking.<\/p>\n
