Thiago Silva\u2019s son, Iago Silva, made his international debut for England\u2019s Under-15s last week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 14-year-old defender, who is also eligible for Brazil, kickstarted his Young Lions career by Matt Thorpe\u2019s under-15 side against Cyprus on Tuesday, February 10.<\/p>\n

Iago made his debut for England\u2019s Under-15s against Cyprus last week[\/caption]<\/p>\n

The match represented the first of two for England during a training camp in Cyprus.<\/p>\n

They went on to keep a clean sheet as they claimed a 3-0 victory against their hosts.<\/p>\n

England followed up the victory by coming from behind to beat the USA 4-3 on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Iago had previously attended a training camp at St. George\u2019s Park<\/a> back in October.<\/p>\n

However, his start against Cyprus represented his first international appearance.<\/p>\n

The teenager is eligible for England as he was aged under 10 when he moved to the country after his dad joined Chelsea<\/a> in 2020.<\/p>\n

Iago, who was born in Brazil, could still choose to follow in his father\u2019s footsteps in the future.<\/p>\n

Silva has won 113 caps for the Selecao during his career, scoring seven goals for his country.<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old has also been part of their squad for the last four World Cups.<\/p>\n

Having not featured since the previous tournament in 2022, Silva\u2019s chances of featuring at this summer\u2019s tournament are slim. <\/p>\n

The ex-Chelsea man re-joined Portuguese club Porto on a deal until the end of the season in December.<\/p>\n

Silva spent four years at Stamford Bridge between 2020 and 2024, making 155 appearances for the Blues.<\/p>\n

He also won three trophies including the Champions League and Club World Cup.<\/p>\n

Iago is joined in the club\u2019s academy by his older brother Isago, who also plays as a defender.<\/p>\n

Isago is a member of Chelsea\u2019s under-18 squad, having joined the youth system at under-13 level.<\/p>\n

The 17-year-old signed his first professional deal in December through to the summer of 2028.<\/p>\n
