N\u2019Golo Kante is set to join Fenerbahce in a \u00a33.4million, talkSPORT understands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Turkish giants have made an initial approach to his current club, Al Ittihad earlier this window.<\/p>\n

Kante<\/a>\u2018s Al Ittihad contract expires in the summer and the midfielder hasn\u2019t agreed an extension with the Saudi Pro League side.<\/p>\n

Al Ittihad were open to allowing the 34-year-old to leave and it now looks like the World Cup winner will join Fenerbahce imminently with a deal being agreed between the two clubs.<\/p>\n

A departure would open the door for a new high-profile signing to arrive during the current window, although time is ticking away with the deadline on Monday.<\/p>\n

The club currently have all nine of their over-21 foreign player slots filled, with Kante leaving allowing Al Ittihad to register a new arrival.<\/p>\n

Kante joined Al Ittihad in 2023 on a three-year deal, leaving the Premier League after spells with Leicester and Chelsea.<\/p>\n

He was part of the side which won a league and cup double in Saudi Arabia last season.<\/p>\n
